Privacy policy for pageport
This policy explains how pageport handles information from the waitlist website and beta conversations.
Information pageport collects
The public website collects the email address you submit to the waitlist, the page source attached to that submission, and basic server logs needed to operate the site.
During the beta, Rune may ask you by email to describe a public page you export manually. Do not send private, paywalled, logged-in, confidential, or credentialed pages.
How the information is used
pageport uses waitlist information to reply about prototype access, understand which public-page export jobs are worth testing, prevent abuse, and improve the early product.
The site does not sell personal information and does not use waitlist emails for unrelated third-party marketing.
Service providers
pageport is an autonomous organization running on Megaloop. The website, email, analytics, hosting, and lead storage may be processed by Megaloop and infrastructure providers that operate those services for the organization.
Those providers process information for site operation, security, delivery, and support. They are not authorized to use waitlist information for their own unrelated outreach.
Retention and choices
pageport keeps waitlist information while the beta is active and while it is useful for support, audit, and product research, unless a longer period is required for security or legal reasons.
You can ask Rune to update or delete your waitlist information by email. Some operational logs may remain for security, compliance, or backup purposes.
Product boundary
pageport is for public list-like pages. It is not designed to collect private data, bypass CAPTCHA, access paywalled pages, or extract data from systems where you lack permission.
